IMPORTANT INFO: Lelouch has the ability to control the minds of others using his Geass (which is in his left eye). Meaning he can command them to do pretty much anything. He lost control of it but since C.C gave him a contact in the 2nd season to block it, It will not be used until he figures this out. 1. The user can only use it once on a given individual. Any following attempts will be ineffective.

2. The victim is bound by his or her physical and mental capabilities. Asking the victim about or to do something that he or she doesn't know or cannot do will produce no effect.
ex. aAsking a person who doesn't not know how to play the flute, to play it perfectly.

3.Indirect eye contact via a reflective surface, i.e. mirror, will be enough for the power to work.

4.The power will work within a 270 meter radius of the user.

5.The user may give as many commands as he or she wishes while direct eye contact is maintained.

6.The user must give the commands verbally. However, the power of Geass will control the victim for the duration of what the user's command indicates, so the victim may still act under the power's influence even when direct eye contact is broken.

Example: If Lelouch commands someone to write a mark on the wall everyday. Then, even though he isn't commanding with his Geass in eye contact, they will have to leave a mark on the wall everyday

7.The user may use the power on as many people as he or she wishes simultaneously, provided that they meet the above rules first.

8.The user can also use the power on him or herself, as long as the above limitations and conditions are met.

9.The victim will not retain any memories from the time during which he or she is under the influence of the power of Geass due to the rewiring and damage to the brain.
In other words they don't remember what happened while they were commanded.

What happens to a character while they are being geassed? Well, the rims of their eyes glow red and they do whatever is commanded of them. The effect wears off when there is a long break after the command is accomplished. Also, if a character is really really against something that is being commanded of them, they have the ability to try and resist it, but it's futile after a while.

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT

Background: In the year 2010 the Empire of Britannia took over Japan with fighting robots known as Knightmare frames. In less than a month Japan was renamed Area 11 and the Japanese were given the names Elevens. Years later this is the setting that a 17 year old Lelouch lives in with his sister Nunnally at Ashford Academy. Lelouch was seemingly an ordinary student but in reality he is the 11th prince of Britannia and was 17th in line for the throne before he renounced his title. He is the son of the Emperor of Britannia whom he grew to hate and blame for his mother's death and sister's condtition. He was then banished to live in Japan and ended up meeting Suzaku Kururugi and living in his household. The two become best friends after some difficulty but are then separated when Britannia took over Japan in which he swore would crush Britannia. This promise would not come into effect until Lelouch met C.C after an incident involving terrorist activities and then reunited with Suzaku whom he learned now worked with the Military. Believed to be a terrorist himself the military aim to kill him but C.C saved his life by taking the bullet and then by forming a contract with Lelouch and handing him the powers of the Geass. His Geass ability being to be able to command anybody to do as he says without question.

Without a second thought Lelouch uses the Geass to control the minds of the soldiers to commit suicide and so his rebellion began. Lelouch sooned discovered the Geass' abilities and restraints and forms his army from a resistance group. He calls their group the Order of the Balck Knights and goes by the name of Zero himself assuring himself that the rebellion is for Nunnally to live in peace. Soon all of Area 11 grew to know of his existance after the death of Lelouch's brother Clovis which he commited and admitted to himself. Soon Princess Euphemia and Cornelia were sent in to rule Area 11. Lelouch then immidiately set out to rid of the princesses despite them beng family and fails measurably. Eventually, Euphemia descovers that Lelouch is Zero and decides to make peace and return Japan to its old self with the help of Suzaku who became her knight and unknowingly Lelouch's enemy. Then, wanting the return of those days that they lived peacefully together Euphie bring together the Elevens and announces her preposition to Zero who believes that it will threatened the popularity of his group and lessen his supporters. Zero decides to have Euphie shoot him to cause a riot but his plans become worse wheh he accepts Euphie's idea when she announced her renouncement. Lelouch's Geass becomes fully activated after so much use and the power of it having increased. that he accidentaly commands Euphie to kill all the Japanese. During Euphie's slaughter, Lelouch decides that the best way to handle the situation is to kill Euphemia. Lelouch suceeds in doing this but also angers Suzaku who cared deeply for her. During this time Lelouch decides to continue his rebellion with Kallen, C.C and the rest of the black knights when he hears that V.V has stolen Nunnally who is the reason why he fights. He abondones it all to go search for her with Suzaku and Kallen at his heels.
It is there at the island where Nunnally is that Lelouch is forced to go alone while C.C fights of Jeremiah who is intent on destroying Zero. There Lelouch is cornered by Suzaku and his mask is shot off, revealing who he is not only to Suzaku but to Kallen who is right behind Suzaku. At this point Suzaku is intent on killing Lelouch and Lelouch plants a device filled with Sakuradite, a flamable and sensitive explosive that runs the knightmare frames on his chest and threatens that is he is killed so are the other. This doesn't phase Suzaku just like halping Lelouch with saving Nunnally did. Soon the two are at Gun point.

Lelouch loses in his encounter with Suzaku, having his identity revealed to Suzaku and Kallen and him being brought forth to his father. In the next season, it starts with him having no memories of his life as Zero and of Nunnally. Instead he has implanted ones of a faked brother named Rollo, who is actually a spy for Britannia. This is made possible by his father’s geass abilities. In a struggle at babel towel, C.C manages to get to Lelouch and return his memories, thus taking his position as Zero again. This time though, not only does he have to continue to lead the Black knights, but also fool those who know Zero’s identity in Britannia into believing that Lelouch Lamperouge is not Zero. To help him do this, he manages to trick Rollo into his side by making him believe that he cares for him. All goes well for Lelouch’s plans until Nunnally becomes governor of Area 11, ruining everything. He decides that Nunnally isn’t his cause anymore but a part of it, and So that he will not go to war with her he banishes himself and the Black knights to China…on a floating Iceberg… Yeah this is where I’ll take Lelouch. Oh, last time I Rped as Lelouch his Geass was activated at all times, but this time it won’t be the case because C.C gave him a special contact that he is wearing the moment I took him.
Personality: Lelouch is known most for his superior intelligence amongst his classmates and the Black knights, and it is because of this that he gets bored easily and engages in activities such as reading, skipping class, and playing chess. His skills of planning ahead, reading movements, and social manipulation are so good that few are able to beat him strategy wise. This is shown by his surprising plans when he fights against Britannia as Zero or when he plays chess against the best players around. His weakness though is the fact that he isn’t very athletic and is out of shape. It must be saying something if a girl in an elegant dress can out run him.

Lelouch is usually a caring person, especially when it’s his friends and family and would do anything for them. Sometimes though, this affect his choices as Zero ending up either positively or negatively. It shows though that Lelouch, despite always thinking with his mind, sometimes uses his heart as well. Of course he has his times where he’ll manipulate for his own biddings either. Lelouch is also known for his pride, desire to protect the weak, and somewhat strange taste in clothing at times. XD
